Very interesting. We are currently evaluating replacements for Microsoft.JScript.Vsa.VsaEngine, which we’re using to interpret customer-supplied JScript code that is evaluated and used by a container C# application of ours. VsaEngine has been marked obsolete since VS 2008, so we’re long overdue for finding a replacement engine.
We’ve been looking closely at the ClearScript project (http://clearscript.codeplex.com), and I am curious whether you’ve done any benchmarking tests comparing the performance of JsRT and ClearScript.
