Dan Mabbutt has some very nice things to say about The Visual Basic .NET Programming Language. Keep it up and maybe there’ll be a new edition sooner rather than later!

For those who haven’t picked up Paul’s VB.Net Programmnig Language book, I think it’s one of the best all time reference books. I compare it to the legendary "The C Programming Language" (http://cm.bell-labs.com/cm/cs/cbook/) in both how it is written and what the goal/audience is.
True, you won’t find detailed example, and if you are learning VB.Net, you’ll likely need to supplement this book with either another or online resources. But I assure you the information is invaluable to veterans and new programmers alike.
As an MSDN and CodeWise author, I always give examples and downloads in both C# and VB.Net. I don’t program in VB.Net much anymore, and despite having a solid VB.Net background, I have to turn to this book often to either help me out or confirm that I’m doing the right thing.
I look forward to the new edition!
