Sadly that article doesn’t seem to have born fruit. Since it was written developers have jumped the VB ship in droves moving on to other languages where their past work will be given more future consideration. I myself migrated to Java. It was a hassle but no less than the .NET "upgrade" move would have been and I gained platform independence. I also lost 2 of my largest clients (60% of my business) due to the retiring of VB.Classic. As of this year we are finally earning again what we were in 2002.
